Paul Lascabettes, Postdoctoral Researcher in Mathematics Applied to Music


I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Strasbourg, working on the discovery of musical patterns and the generation of musical rhythms.


I'm also working on the project “Geometry of Music” for the channel Mathémusique, for which I developed the interactive website Rhythm Circle. 


Research interests : Patterns, Rhythm, Performance & Structure in Music!

I hold a PhD in mathematics applied to music from Ircam/Sorbonne University.
